Appearance: Redstar is a red-silver tabby / Maine coon mix. He is large and looks even bigger thanks to his thick, fluffy pelt. His fur is mostly plain white. The exceptions are his red ears that gave him his warrior name, as well as the faint red tip on his tail. Since he is a tabby mix Redstar also has the typical tabby 'M' on his forehead- red, to match his ears. Being a Maine coon he has very large paws though they don't seam out of place since the rest of him is huge also. Redstar's eyes are a bright, sparkling blue color.
Personality: Even as a young tom Redstar has always been mature for his age. He is typically quiet though not unsociable. He tries his best to rule the clan justly and as fair as he can be. Still he is stern and not too kind to duel out punishment where it is due. Living with twoleg kits in his early life, Redstar has developed a deep patience. That being said, Redstar is very old. He can be cranky and irritable. If pushed/annoyed he may snap and act rashly.
Another aspect Redstar has kept since youth is his love of adventure and excitement. He enjoys hunting and exploring, and will even lead patrols himself instead of letting his deputy handle everything. In the past Redstar had a tendency to get into fights and liked to spar with other cats. Now that he is older and slower he cannot fight as well and tires out quickly. He knows his limits and tries to control his temper though sometimes he cannot help but physically discipline younger cats when he feels they deserve it. Redstar is not the strongest or the fastest cat you'll ever meet, but he is intelligent and quick-witted. Most of all he is loyal and works hard for his clan.
Redstar cares deeply for all the cats of his clan, weather he shows it or not. He is not the most cuddly leader but he has deep regards each of his clan-mates. He pays attention to their strengths and attempts to set them up to succeed. He can be a big rough on younger cats in training but it is only because he feels it will make them stronger. When it comes to interacting with cats from outside the clan Redstar is fickle. He has a soft spot for kittypets due to his upbringings and is easier on them than most clan-cats would be. However he does not have the same love for cats from other clans. He also will act as though he is better than other cats, stemming from his age and rank.
History: Redstar started as a kittypet with the name Pinky. He was loved and cared for from the moment of his birth. He grew up living in a home full of twolegs, twoleg kits, and multiple other cats. As the oldest of the cats in his twoleg home he watched kits come and go yet he stayed with his twolegs until he was 6 years old. It was then that his twoleg family moved. Some of his twolegs had split up and went off, and the remaining twolegs moved him and the other cats into a smaller twoleg den. He started spending more and more time outside and before long he met a cat from the clans. She was what he later found out was a medicine cat, as she taught him all about clan life. Though he still loved his twoleg family, Pinky came to terms with his love of being an outside cat, and the fact that his twolegs no longer had as much time for him as they used to. He accepted the medicine cat's offer and joined Wildclan where he was given the name Redear. Though an ex-kittpet, Redear was patient and wise. He could already hunt and fight well enough to compete with the clan cats. He gained the respect and trust of his clan-mates easily. Soon after becoming a warrior Redear was appointed to deputy. As deputy he served well until his leader and close friend went to join Starclan, then took over as leader of Wildclan.
Family: Redstar does not remember much of his parents or litter-mates, due to being separated from them so young. He still thinks fondly of his twoleg family and the other cats he had lived with, but has no family in the clans.

) Your application looks great (I am assuming that it is mostly finished, with the exception of the photo), I just wanted to give you a tip on the appearance. I don't know if you based your description on an existing picture or not, so I'm just going to throw this out there. It will be much easier to find a play-by if you base the look off of a picture that you already have. That being said, it might be difficult to find a cat to fit this description and if you would like, I'd be happy to help!
